When I went, he had a bunch of seedlings that weren't technically for sale, but he let me pick one out for a friend. I think the maple will manage in most years, especially as it grows and becomes more established. It's tough enough not to die without summer water. It just droops a bit.Evan Beanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06732413653862912387noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3725795560485860373.post-51036736125672067902016-11-17T15:48:23.125-08:002016-11-17T15:48:23.125-08:00I've found there are a lot of times of year I ...I've found there are a lot of times of year I have that problem. ;-)Evan Beanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06732413653862912387noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3725795560485860373.post-82795845601660105112016-11-17T15:47:44.725-08:002016-11-17T15:47:44.725-08:00I have two silver mahonias now. I expect I'll have to special order it. I suppose you should make "summer watering" exception for your beautiful maple: its worth keeping alive for the amazing fall show!chavlinesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10907844942343152129noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3725795560485860373.post-58154585802598331942016-11-17T09:46:34.880-08:002016-11-17T09:46:34.880-08:00Wow...that Acer!
